The Process
Assessment
Our team conducts a thorough assessment of the surface to be cleaned, identifying the type and extent of contaminants present. This step ensures that the correct pressure and dry ice pellet size are used for optimal results.
Preparation
The area is prepared by securing the work environment and taking necessary safety measures. This includes isolating the area if needed and protecting nearby surfaces from overspray.
Blasting
Dry ice pellets are propelled at high speed using compressed air to impact the surface, effectively removing contaminants. The sublimation process (transition from solid to gas) occurs instantly, lifting away residues without damaging the surface
Inspection
The cleaned surface is inspected to ensure all contaminants have been removed and the desired level of cleanliness has been achieved. Additional passes may be performed if necessary to address any remaining residues.
Completion
The area is left clean and ready for use. Since dry ice blasting leaves no secondary waste, there is minimal need for additional clean-up, making the process quick and efficient
